Hope Davis is a talented American actress who has appeared in many different popular TV shows and Movies including ‘Flatliners’ and ‘Arlington Road’.
Hope Davis was born on March 23rd 1964 in Englewood, New Jersey. Her mother worked as a librarian and played an important part in Hope’s upbringing and success as a well rounded performer. She used to take Hope and her siblings to cultural events, museums and other activities after church on a Sunday.
Davis attended Tenafly High School in Tenafly, New Jersey and grew up performing plays and acting alongside her childhood friend and fellow actress Mira Sorvino.
She majored in cognitive science at Vassar College, but after realising her true love of acting decided to pursue her ambitions and eventually broke into the world of film and TV acting.
One of Hope Davis first roles was in the hit 1990 movie ‘Flatliners’ alongside Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland. This spawned success in many more movies in the 90’s including ‘Home Alone’ ‘The day-trippers’ ‘Kiss of death’ ‘Next stop Wonderland’ and in 1999 the hit thriller ‘Arlington Road’ starring Jeff Bridges, Joan Cusack and Tim Robbins.
In 2002 she had another big role in the movie ‘About Schmidt’ alongside Jack Nicholson and in 2005 went on to star alongside another big name actor Nicolas Cage in the movie ‘The Weatherman’.
Hope Davis has starred in various other popular movies but most recently she appeared in the TV series ‘Six Degree’s’
